Abstract :
Nowadays, with the rapid increase of network elements and network services, the automation of provisioning the services or configurations to the network devices has become one of the primary tasks for all network operators. In order to do that, suitable protocols must be selected and implemented carefully in every network devices. But it´s to not an easy work to evaluate which protocol suitable for a network layer, especially when they have to take into account the sustainable development, which bring the potential benefit in the long term. The information model and data model is the first things to be considered, and the data modeling language plays an important role in this stage as the consequence. This paper will show the comparison (based on an evaluation framework) of different data modeling languages, which are used to in popular network management protocols: SNMP, NETCONF and TR-069.
