  • Abstract
    This paper introduces the dissemination technical architecture design of large size satellite meteorological data for China Integrated Meteorological Information Service System(CIMISS) that assumed by National Meteorological Information Center(NMIC). In CIMISS project, it has two levels, one is national center, the other is provincial center. As the national level centre, NMIC assumed the responsibility of data collection and dissemination. Comparison to common material and data, Satellite files are usually much bigger especially when FY-3A satellite data be transmitted this year. If using existing communication system´s architecture, the timeliness for provincial level to get satellite data could not be satisfied. In order to improve timeliness and reduce occupation of network bandwidth as much as possible, this paper designed a distributed ftp technical architecture which could combine with existing communication system well.
