Abstract :
A measurement device capabilities DB that allows one to unify test routine programming is presented along with a device front end generator. These tools allow to standardize remote device programming by making parametric test routines independent from measurement device. The work is implemented over Unix platforms connected to an IEEE 488 communication system and is being developed in a microelectronics automated test environment
