Abstract :
A revolutionary test method coupled with innovative automation yields superior motor performance measurement data without sacrifice of production speed. This paper discusses the methodology in detail, compares and contrasts the methodology with traditional motor test methods and describes production applications wherein the method has been automated. Three applications in particular are discussed; a small, threaded-shaft motor, a threaded-shaft, two-speed pump motor application and a direct current automotive type starter motor
