Abstract :
The paper is concerned with the development of the 3 millimeter wave solid state Doppler radar and using this radar for fog and precipitation parameters measurements. The radar is full solid state CW instrument with a sinusoidal frequency modulation. The souding range is 1 km, relative distance resolution is 10%. Backscattering spectra from a weak rain are presented.
