Abstract :
The radiation from a printed circuit board (PCB) is one of the critical problems regarding the design and the functioning of VLSI integrated devices. In order to explore new solutions for reducing unwanted coupling effects recently new materials has been proposed as different kind of substrates. In this paper the far field expression for the radiated field produced by a current distribution on a biisotropic slab has been deduced. The effects of the biisotropic parameters on the radiation patterns have been analyzed.
