Abstract
For reducing the gas consumption and NOx emission, modern gas engines adopt lean burn techniques generally. In this paper, the lean burn control strategy for LPG engine, which can decrease high costs because of the general linear oxygen sensor greatly, uses torque estimation and λ oxygen sensor is presented. Test results of buses proved that the control strategy has a very good performance, because it can decrease gas consumption and exhaust emission, and fulfill demand of output power, respectively.
