Abstract :
A TM-mode waveguide optical isolator consisting of a semiconductor waveguide combined with a ferromagnetic MnSb layer was developed. An isolation ratio of 12 dB/mm was achieved at a wavelength of 1.54 mum and a temperature range of 20-70degC.
