Abstract
This paper introduces the principle of standard SSL protocol and analyzes its limitations first. Then the chip based SSL protocol is proposed. This protocol uses the chip technology to improve the performance of standard SSL protocol, including more secure key storage, more secure algorithms and greater speed. Furthermore, the CSK (Combined Symmetric Key) algorithm is used to generate the rapid authentication code and improve the authentication speed in the handshake protocol of SSL, replacing the traditional PKI certificate mechanism.
