Abstract :
Magneto-sensitive (MS) elastomers are a class of smart materials whose mechanical properties change instantly by the application of a magnetic field. The control of spherically symmetric oscillations of initially inflated MS elastic sphere by a homogeneous magnetic field is considered. The presented results can be used for generation of spherically symmetric acoustic waves.
