The Yangtze River basin with the abundant fishery resources is an important fishery production region in China. However, the Yangtze River is being abused and exacted instead of being managed and protected. The fishery resources of the Yangtze River and the environment have already been destructed because of the serious influence of water project construction, channel dredging up, environmental pollution, and the illegal fishing. Fortunately, with continuously increasing influence factors of fishery resources of the Yangtze River, the government is not only strengthening the management, but also emphasizing on the lawmaking from different aspects to directly or indirectly enlarge the protection of the fishery resources in Yangtze River. But it is more important to get hold of ecosystem regulations and to implement the protection lawmaking on fishery resources, which is the valid assurance to support for ecosystem and protect the fishery resources of the Yangtze River.
