Abstract
In this work a speed-gradient algorithm to control non-linear oscillations of a dynamic system for both regulation and tracking problems is presented. A Colpitts oscillator having chaotic behavior is worked up as case study. The algorithm uses only structural information of the dynamic model to construct the control law and can globally and asymptotically converge to prescribed regular orbits or fixed points.
