Abstract :
This paper deals with some basic properties of sapphire, quartz and langasite "whispering gallery" dielectric resonators which are of growing importance in many modern microwave and millimetre wave applications. The resonator temperature coefficient of frequency dependencies on temperature, disk configuration and a resonant mode type are being studied by computer simulation predominantly. The results got reveal some unknown features of such resonators thus forming a basis for developing new frequency stabilization methods.
