  • Abstract
    The impacts of the transbasin diversion hydropower projects on the downstream area of the diverted-out basin are analyzed. It is indicated that the impacts on the diverted-out basin are mainly in water quantity and the water energy resource available to the downstream area of the diversion dam. A fuzzy mathematic model is presented for integrated evaluation of these impacts. Further, some countermeasures to these impacts are discussed.
