A detailed view of the first Android client application for the iLab Shared Architecture

This paper details the first Android client application that was developed for iLab Shared Architecture online laboratories. It details the functionality and the development process and presents the results of the tests on real-world mobile devices. The difficulties encountered during the research and development process have led to the enrichment of the services offered by future ISA Service Brokers. New solutions and ideas discovered by developing the application will serve in the proper development of other planned Android clients for teleengineering applications.
