Abstract :
The harm of ice shedding of HV overhead transmission lines was analyzed. Fiber grating temperature and strain measurement system was introduced.The wavelength division multiplex sensing system was designed based on the research of fiber grating sensing principle and the characteristics of HV power line.The advantage of fiber is not only sensing material,but also transmission material,the monitoring system network structure model based on C/S mode was designed.This model has reference value to wide range HV power line temperature and strain simultaneous measurement.
