Abstract
By use of power system analysis software BPA, the power flow of a certain regional power network was simulated; From this the nodes and zones with weak voltage stability were found out , and an optimal configuration scheme of pharos measurement units(PMUs) in this regional power network was proposed. By means of indentifying equivalent impedances with recursive least square method, the voltage stability of this regional power network was evaluated by dynamic simulation, so the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed optimal configuration scheme of pharos measurement units was validated. It was also pointed out that whether the nodal voltage was stable or not can be judged by the index of impedance modulus ratio.
