Abstract :
Considers the (1-block) l1-optimal control problem from the viewpoint of deadbeat control of the objective function, and shows that the minimum-time deadbeat controller (MTDC) gives a certain suboptimal solution. It is also shown by an example that MTDC can give an optimal solution in some cases
