Abstract :
The digital filters a[n] and b[n] of the filter bank required for implementing the discrete time wavelet transform DTWT[m,n] of the sampled signal s(kT) are derived. The filter a[n] is proved to be an all-pass filter and the filter b[n] to be a time-reversed and complex conjugated version of the sampled mother wavelet Ψ(nT) used in the definition of the DTWT
