  • Abstract
Accompanying the EURESCOM project P505: `Wide Area Computer Support for Cooperative Work (CSCW)´, this paper describes the outcome of this project. The results are presented in 4 parts. Part 1 describes how work processes in the context of EURESCOM and therefore in most distributed project environments are coped with today; this includes classifying the work processes in European PNOs and gathering information on the support tools used. Part 2 analyses and groups the work processes according to similar communication characteristics and generates suitable work-process supportive toolsets. Part 3 describes ten scenarios of typical telecooperative work processes on which trials are carried out in the project and the means used to analyse the results of the trials. Part 4 finally describes first results achieved
