  • Abstract
With the development of GIS (geography information system), gradually GIS technic is applied in more and more fields from decision-making of government to every aspect of modern society. On the other hand software of today is becoming larger and more complex, component technic has played a very important part in development of software. Especially when you develop B/S (browser/server) software, you will find that if you don´t adopt component technic your work would be very hard. As some one said development of modern software is component development. This paper will discuss several kinds of component technic(including JavaBean COM CORBA)that is used widely and study respective technic and application characteristic of these component technic. This paper will discuss MVC (model view controller) frame that can be used in development of a GIS system. This paper will probe into find a method of developing a GIS system based component so as to make cost of development of your GIS application lower and cycle shorter.
