Abstract
With thorough work on reduction technology of carbon dioxide emission, CO2 capture and storage is gradually paid great attention by international scholars. Transport is an integral part of this capture and storage technology. It has been estimated that for large-scale and long-distance transport of CO2, pipelines are the most economical way. In consideration of CO2´s special physical properties, its process calculation methods of transportation pipelines have certain differences with regular hydrocarbon pipelines. This paper firstly verifies the accuracy of BWRS equation for physical parameters´ calculation of CO2, then proposes process calculation methods of vapor, liquid and supercritical pipelines with combination of hydrocarbon design model and finally verifies feasibility and accuracy of those methods according to the application example.
