  • Abstract
    A scheme for identifying hydraulic turbine governing system based on Prony method is proposed. Considering the application of Prony method in identifying system transfer function, parameters can be identified through the analysis of the system eigenvalues and residues. The proposed scheme was verified via simulation in Matlab and Simulink. Identification results show that such method has the advantage of fast computation, high parameter identification precision, and better program generality. It provides a new way for parameter identification of hydraulic turbine governing system.
