  • Abstract
    Over the last decades, although there have been some changes in construction industry with the development of the technology and culture, much research projects suggest that construction is still ineffective. With the increasing complexity of the construction projects and high uncertainty of the environment, collaborative relationships between organizations in construction supply chain (CSC) is necessary and important to improve the performance of construction supply chain management. The system thinking is a pattern of thinking following the emergence theory. Synergy is one of ways inducing emergence. Based on emergence mechanism of complex system theory, synergy management ways of CSC can be set up to enhance CSC competitive advantage.
