Abstract
A monolithic bandpass filter is presented which uses a dual-mode ring resonator implemented with lumped-element pi-networks as transmission-line equivalents. FET negative resistance circuits are employed for loss compensation. The measured results show excellent performance, with a 800 MHz 3-dB bandwidth centred at 5.2 GHz.
