Abstract
In the paper a single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) bilinear system is considered under external sinusoidal excitation. The paper investigates an influence of random phase modulation on chaotic response of the system in order to understand the sensitivity of the chaotic behavior to excitation uncertainties. Bifurcation analysis is used for preview investigation of the nonlinear system.
