Abstract
This paper analyzed the characteristics of the offshore wind farm and proposed a model and an algorithm to evaluate the reliability of the electrical collection system. Concerning the output of the wind farm is sensitive to the wind speed, a computing model considering the wind speed in reliability evaluation is presented. At last, a case study demonstrated the influence of the topologies of the electrical system and the variable wind speed to the reliability evaluation.
