Abstract :
A powerful software program was developed for didactic aid to the student, allowing the study of transient analysis in networks containing from simple items, such as transmission lines and resistances, to more complex topologies including RCL circuits (filters) and switches connecting subnetworks with different initial conditions. The program allows specification of the initial conditions of voltage and intensity, definition of the generator, implementation of a great variety of topologies as well as limitation of the time in which the program is to work. The application centres on graphic resolution of whatever doubt or problem that may arise in microwave transient analysis.
