Abstract :
A software for the characterization of planar or suspended lines (coplanar waveguide, microstrip, slotlines...) based on an integral formulation [1-2] is presented. It allows to determine propagation and cut off constants, characteristic impedance, losses and to visualize the various components of electromagnetic fields as well as the power distribution within the cross section of the guiding structure. This tools is geared to circuit designing as well as microwave education.
