Abstract
The extended spectral domain approach is applied to analyze the CPW symmetrical and asymmetrical discontinuities. The entire circuit which includes the air-bridge used to suppress the unwanted coupled slotline (CSL) mode is modeled properly by the 3-D Green´s function. It is found that the CSL mode has the drastic effect on the circuit performance. Experimental data have been shown to be in good agreement with the theoretical ones.
