Abstract
This paper presents a method that uses orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) to insert hundreds of low-level carriers in the vestigial sideband of the video signal. The spectrum of the carriers is shaped so as not to interfere with the spectral components of the NTSC video signal. The number of carriers provides for a raw data throughput of approximately 1 Mbps
