  • Abstract
    By using AVHRR/HPRT data received at the University of Tokyo (Japan), Kuroshima (Japan), Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) and Bangkok (Thailand), the 10-day AVHRR composite image data set of Asia are produced. The processing for the dataset includes radiometric calibration, geometric registration, compositing and atmospheric correction. Each dataset is composed of 11 layers of image data including reflectances of channels 1 and 2, brightness temperatures of channels 3, 4 and 5, NDVI, SST, angles of sensor zenith, solar zenith and relative azimuth, and measured date. The data sets for 1998 and 1999 are available now through the satellite environmental information database of University of Tokyo
