Design and Development of the Travel Recommendation System

In a rapid tourism development situation, the tourism information technology application just in a backwardness stage. It takes the travel recommendation system design as study object, and analyses the difference between in travel recommend and common e+commerce recommendation system based on the particularity of tourism information service. Therefore, the design idea and Theoretical Model of the travel recommendation system (TRS) have been put forward. On the comprehensive understand about travel information service requirement, the authors design a three layers application framework including browser/Web´s server/database server, and build up the system structure of TRS. The functions and features of the TRS, the recommendation principle and algorithm practice are described latter. At last, it use experiment method to verify the recommendation mechanism for TRS.
