Abstract :
CDMA techniques are becoming more and more popular for high speed wireless multimedia network. For network flexibility, multi-rate CDMA has been proposed and studied; in these works, no coding is considered. This paper presents an analysis of multi-rate CDMA using convolutional codes. The results show that the bit error rate (BER) is greatly improved when coding is used in combination with a spreading technique
