The switched reluctance motor´s encoder for the tank´s cannon breek automation system

To open and to close the open-and-closer of a tank´s cannon breek automatically, the authors applied an SRM (switched reluctance motor) which has the characteristics of high speed, high torque, high efficiency, durability and environmental robustness. For stable velocity control, a new type of encoder with simple configuration is proposed. The encoder is benchmarked with a conventional encoder to verify the performance.
