  • Abstract
    This paper aims at the air-lift compressor installed in a certain offshore oil and gas platform of East China Sea. Applying the modern state monitoring and fault diagnosing technologies, the theory of time frequency analysis is firstly introduced into its fault characteristic´s extraction of air-lift compressor, and the intelligent forecasting method is also researched into its working state. Then, its vibration signals of air-lift compressor are analyzed with the mentioned time frequency analysis method. Analyzing results show some periodic components of air-lift compressor vibration signal can be extracted by short time Fourier transform. Finally, some important measures and technical means have been put forward and successfully applied into solving its vibration problem during its running of air-lift compressor.
