Abstract
There is a high-latency before conventional automotive active collision-avoidance system identified the abnormal vehicle in front of it, and without considering the impact of different road conditions on effect of braking. This paper proposes an automotive active collision-avoidance system based on VII technology (vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-roadside communication), design a V2V short-range wireless communication media access protocol at road traffic environment, and establish a vehicle following critical distance model which make the dynamic braking deceleration as its key parameter. Simulation results demonstrate that the new active collision-avoidance system has strong self-adaptability and robustness, achieves a more satisfactory effect of active collision-avoidance.
