Abstract :
The indoor triaxial data indicate that rheological deformation of asphalt concrete is large under complex stress, the proportion of which is about 30% in total measured deformation. In this paper, the incremental model based on rheological heredity theory is applied to study of operation character of Yele asphalt concrete impervious structure, and the rationality of incremental model is verified with dam´s prototype observated data. Through the comparison on time-dependent characteristic of asphalt concrete impervious under complete and operation stage, detailed analysis of core wall deformation and stress under long-term rheological deformation is done. It could be concluded that rheological deformation has great effect on the deformation of asphalt concrete core, however, but has a little change on stress. The impervious structure of asphalt concrete core for high rockfill dam would not happen shear failure and be safety.
