Abstract :
This paper presents the study of conditioning power systems applied to stand-alone systems, including maximum power point trackers (MPPT´s), simulated and evaluated using simulating tool Simulink®. It is supposed to be integrated on a photovoltaic stand-alone system. Since space and weight are very limited in the environment of a moving vehicle it is very important to maximize the efficiency of its power source: the array of photovoltaics panels.
