Abstract
In work the analysis of the physical phenomena arising during steel treatment by cutting is fulfilled. The dependence of speeds gradient upon thickness of a flowing swarf on all length of contact with a cutter front surface is received. Experiment is lead on the example of a cutter from quick-cutting alloy B14M7K25 at steel treatment of 45 mark. For the task solution physical modeling of process is used. In the result of research optimal modes of cutting are found.
