Abstract :
So called knowledge grid is a virtual knowledge or experience sharing environment for innovation. Experts, software, engineers are all viewed as the resource nodes of the grid framework. Within the knowledge grid, the resource nodes can cooperate for a task such as product innovation design, the cooperation among the resource nodes are called linking edge. As a result of the distributed, dynamic, and self-organizing features of resource nodes, learning the grid composition and analyzing the knowledge dynamical features of the knowledge is vital for the management of knowledge grid. However, the modeling of the knowledge grid is the fundament for the analyzing. So a case based modeling technology was proposed in the paper. In which various practical workflow cases were used as the data source of nodes and edges information of the knowledge grid, and workflow engine technologies were used to extract the grid information and scale-free complex analyzing method could be adopted to analyze the knowledge grid in order to support the knowledge management and decision.
