Abstract :
This paper discusses motor on-line diagnostics and problems connected with this issue. The research proves that the most effective approach is diagnostic methods synergy. Implementation, detection and location of discharge-, vibration- and thermal-type defects are described. Several practical examples of in-field motor diagnostics have been used to illustrate the control data and repair recommendations.
