Abstract :
Exact closed form evaluation of the scattered field from natural rough surfaces has never been performed. Many approximate solutions have been found. In this paper a comparison between the physical optics (PO) solution under the Kirchhoff approximation (KA) and the extended boundary conditions method (EBCM) is performed. In both the methods a fractal model for the surface description has been employed
