Abstract
This paper proposes a structural decomposition analysis model which is based on the method of input-output to analyze energy consumption. The result indicates that intensity effect is the key factor for energy consumption decrease. Structure effect and demand effect are the main factors for energy consumption increase. This paper also decomposes the three components. The result is that the effect of the industrial sector is the most obvious in these three components.
