A constant hysteresis-band current controller with fixed switching frequency

This paper proposes a constant hysteresis-band current controller with lower fixed switching frequency by adding zero mode control at proper time. An extra k-band is introduced for creating a degree of freedom to achieve constant switching frequency and maintain fixed hysteresis-band simultaneously. Detailed theoretical basis of the proposed fixed switching frequency hysteresis current controller is then presented in the context. The existence condition of the proposed control is also derived. Finally, a simplified hardware system is constructed to verify the validity of the proposed control.
