Abstract
It has been shown that distributed turbo coding (DTC) can perform close to the information-theoretic bound on outange event probability in quasi-static relay channel. In this paper, we apply DTC in LTE-Advanced relay network and popose a novel Pre-decoding scheme at the terminal. For the proposed scheme, the information from the source node and the relay node is first decoded respectively and then the Turbo extrinsic information are initialized before the joint iterative decoding. The results show that the proposed scheme can effectively mitigate BER of the relay system due to the large noise of the direct link.
