Abstract
This paper deals with the problem of blind joint equalisation and detection in a multipath CDMA channel in the presence of multiple-access interference (MAI) and unknown correlated ambient noise. A subspace method for signature waveform estimation is extended to the system with unknown correlated noise. Through signature waveform estimation, a linear MMSE detector can be obtained blindly. Simulation results are provided to show that the linear MMSE detector is near-far resistant
