Abstract :
Some modifications of the transportation problem with additional capacity constraints are studied. In the first part the additional constraints give upper bounds on the distribution function at certain points. The second example discusses order restrictions on the transportation problem. In the third example local upper bounds on the transportation plans are considered. It is shown that this case can be reduced to a transportation problem without constraints
