The importance of tacit knowledge has been widely accepted, however, no efficient ways have been found to manage tacit knowledge well for improving organizational competitive advantage. Due to the fact that tacit knowledge is deeply embedded in individual actions and experiences, and it is shared and transferred through informal networks, this paper hereby proposes an approach as a new middle way to achieve managing tacit knowledge from accessing and managing informal networks. This approach contains a four-step spiral of how to manage informal networks and creating a well-designed "Ba" is supposed to be an important action in this spiral.
