Abstract :
The nonlinear dynamics of electrons in a time-constant alternating-sign toroidal magnetic field is considered on the basis of Hamiltonian formalism. It is shown that with the application of superconducting solenoids it is possible to increase the magnetic field intensity by more than one order of magnitude and hence essentially increase the energy of accelerated beams.<>
